Hi,

Did you ever manage to reset that SRS light, I have a 99 2.5l 10 valve which has just illuminated the SRS light 2 weeks before the MOT is due.

Thanks
Mark

I think you will have to take a trip to Volvo to get your SRS light sorted my code reader won't touch it and my local garage with a serious bit of kit says he cant access the airbag/SRS everything else but that and he try'd for ages. so I too have to bite the bullet and head over to Volvo as it MOT time.

This may do what you want but check with vendor.

Other than that you will need a DiCE unit.

Mine's a 1999 2.5 tdi 10v and Vida Dice works for me. Trouble is you need a laptop for the software. Good investment if you want to do your own repairs and intend to stick to Volvo's, but if you go to an earlier year this may not work and you'd then probably need Vol fcr.

Vida Dice is not just a code reader/re-setter but also a workshop manual.

Hope this helps

I hope somebody comes up with a solution soon as we are all going to be in the same boat. I know that mine is on as well. A silly main agent price will be hard to swallow against value of the car.

Anyone actually paid for this yet at main agent to give us an idea of what to expect?

Or are we all going to be resorting to removing the bulb!
