Hi Paul,
I am sorry but I can't send PMs to you as yet, so I am posting here instead...

I am wondering if you might have a part I am after.
I am looking for the turbo coolant return pipe. The pipe that runs up from the turbo and along the back of the engine.
I am still new to the engine variations on the Volvos but I think the T5 is similar to my 1998 V70R.
the part I need is 1397795, this pipe:

Does the striker plate for the tailgate still have the rubber buffer on it? Pics please if it does to AndyD345 at btinternet.com

The part the latch catches too on the body at the bumper. Held on by 2 x 40 torx

This one:~
If the problem is a rusty plate then they can be cleaned up -- also use a rust treatment- heavy gauge metal so normally come right.

Thats it, the rubber has disappeared and allowing the tailgate to rattle
