Did the 200-300 amp change over . Now ALL the speakers are working and it sound nice .The trick really is to spend time with the hidden settings . In its day it was one of the best car OEM stereos going .

Next will be taking it to one of these "rent a ramp" places and looking underneath and seeing if I can tighten anything up etc . few odd noises .maybe loose engine covers etc .And check suspension pieces for play .

It took me ages to track down one intermittant and very irritating knock. It turned out to be the middle screw of a mudflap missing and both of the others loose. At some speeds the top stiff edge of the mudflap flapped back against the inside of the wheel arch.

Not volvo related, but. . Bought a mini

New project now the v70s pretty much done barring any future issues..

1988 Mayfair 998cc, needs new sills and A panels, new rear quarter, haggled it for a grand which seems fair considering the rest is pretty solid. For most on ebay you don't need a trailer you just take it away with a dustpan and brush

Sent her for her MOT this morning, failed on a track rod and front side light bulbs dim, not too bad for 17 years old and 213000 miles.

Today I reluctantly decided not to buy a BMW 535i for sale in the next village.
