Default 17" Pegasus Wheels.

I have a set of 4 above wheels and shod with winter tyres from my 2004 V70 AWD R. IIRC these can be fitted to my 2015MY V70 as the centre bore is bigger on the P2 wheel than the P3. I have no "spigot shims" but wonder, while they might be preferable are they absolutely necessary. My P3 tyres are 225/50 x17 the snow tyres 225/45 x 17. My belief is the wheel bolts will "pull" the wheel central, and again IIRC not every vehicle I've owned has central spigots.

I tried fitting a set of wheels once to my MX5 without fitting the correct spigot rings and had really bad vibration so I think you will need them.

Bought some spigots off of ebay and have now fitted the 17" pegs. with my winter tyres. No vibrations at all at 60mph, and despite being 45 profile not 50 profile ( std) they ride surprisingly comfortably. No doubt due to a slightly softer side wall.

Thanks for the tip.

Cheers
Bob
