Howdy Chaps
Long time not on here as both girls behaving immaculately hop everybody good

Started Saffy last week, sounded like a tank exhaustwise. SGS have finally delivered replacement trolley jack handle and yep you guessed it some piece of human trash has cut off the Cat

Any suggestions on how to replace without breaking the already overloaded bank would be gratefully received

Paul

If it's a phase 1, they will run well without a Cat (just a straight through pipe), but you have to have a strategy for MOT time.

Unless you can sort the MOT, I think the only option you have will cost money. Last time I checked, used V70 cats are worth £120 plus, scrap value.

The Jetex website lists a few options: https://jetex.co.uk/sports-catalytic-converters/

Thieving scum, maybe one day their jack will fail..

PFS now stock replacements, a 98 R will set you back about £190 and is basically bolt in by the looks of it.

Thanks guys much appreciated

Steve at Trust Car Parts advised he could not source which really had me worried although an online CAT seller advised they could supply. Would much rather use a seller who knows their stuff !

What is the discount code for us with FRF please ?

Oddly I had a dream couple of days ago that I was woken by a piece of trash cutting off a neighbours CAT. I went out and oddly his trolly jack handle suddenly slipped anticlockwise

I went out with one of my axes, the fella waiting to collect the stolen goods did not fair tooo well either !!

The cat on mine started rattling a few years ago and I replaced with a second hand one went to the local scrap yard hoping to recoup some money and they offered jack for it, how times have changed.

I am not surprised. I was looking to buy one in 2019 as mine had been emptied by a previous owner. Everything is considerably more these days!
