Considering a V70 automatic....mpg?

I am considering buying a 2008 V70 SE Sport D5 185bhp Automatic, Could anyone advise on the mpg on a motorway run compared with a manual V70?

Hmmmmm, I can't answer your question because I've not had a manual 185 D5 as a direct comparison and nobody else will drive in the same manner, and under the same road conditions as you but if I drive in a moderate way, I can get 40 mpg out of my auto 185
on a motorway.

you'll average 40-45 on a motorway run. I average 30 on my 20 mile round commute to and from work however.

Figures sound about right, similar to mine for my 205 AWD auto.
Hang my lardy caravan on the back and motorway trips give about 25-30

2.4d auto 2008 34 average & upto 35-36mpg if restrained. 30mpg average around town. hope that helps
