S80: General - Computer reset?

Hi,

Can anyone offer any suggestions!

Volvo S80 D5 SE 2008 model

The fuel consumption/average mpg/average speed reset button and DSTC on and off button on my left hand control stalk has suddenly stopped working. The computer is still showing instantaneous readings and the miles to empty tank is still ok.

Would this show up on a fault code reader or is it something that is likely to need investigation at a main dealer?

Sounds like a faulty stalk mate.
Not huge cash i think (£40.00 ish)

Can tell you what this is: Nylon cog inside stalk wears out and then wont work . Need to replace the stalk. Volvo eh!

Yep its stalk.

Easy to change if u know what u doing.
