Here is the info from VIDA - see attached .pdf

Make sure you have got the correct filter for your car, have you got IAQS (interiaor air quality system)?

If you have got ECC (electronic climate control) this will be a yes and if you have no ECC then probably a no. Not a true accurate way to say one way or another though so you may want to enquire with a Volvo dealer who can tell you.

2 types of filter:

Part No: 9204627 Particulate Filter - normal pollen filter - without IAQS
Part No: 30676419 Multi Filter - charcoal multi filter - with IAQS

Hmm this is in the newer S80 category? So do you have S80 "mk1" or "mk2?"
mk1 is just as said before, MK2, its different. On LHD models (sorry, never done a RHD one...) remove throttle pedal and open the hatch next to it, takes 30-40 minutes easily on the first time.

So if you have the newer style S80 with the "thin" centre console, its different from the older model.

I went bu OP's post saying it was a 2006 UK model which in thatsense would make it a Mk1.

If you want the same sort of post but for a Mk2 I can look up and post up the details.
