You can do it direct from here.com in a web browser. Simply find the destination, click the share button and choose send to car, select Volvo and enter either your VIN (I have tried VIN) or VOC email address and away you go. Stick a tick in the remember box and you'll not need to enter these details again, making it pretty quick and easy.

I do not have VOC, so cannot really help.
I use a desktop/iPad and from the here.com website, I select destinations and then Send to Car.

I find the desktop to be the best, with the mouse, one can pinpoint a location with extreme accuracy, not so easy with an iPad.

The app uses 'here' mapping, at least for now. ('here' is now owned by VW, Merc and BMW (I think) so in a few years when the current agreement expires it's possible/likely that Volvo will move away from them to some other mapping service.)

If you have a PC running Win10 there's also a native VoC app for that environment.

The last time I used Send to Car from here.com in a browser it sent the destination exactly 100 times. This got very tedious after a while.

That would indeed get very tedious, glad it didn't happen to me the couple of times I tried it

Yes, I've had that. The only way I could stop it was by clearing all the destinations on the screen where the send to car destinations land (favourites, library, can't remember..). As I recall I could tap edit, select all and then delete, or something like this, the destination then arrived one more time and that was it.

Yes, after I got home I deleted them all from the Library and no more arrived after that.

Send to Car works great from the VoC app though and is my preferred input method.

I too find it very easy and practical. Send the address to the car before leaving home or while walking to the car park wherever you are.
