GRILL
Can anyone tell me, does the new Volvo grill fit in the older V70 models. I quite like the emblembed new R grill, and wanted to know if it will fit in my V70R (99).
Thanks |

RE: GRILL
If you want the new "egg crate" effect grill I believe you need to buy the one for the old (classic shape) X70.
The new grill from the current V70 range will not fit our cars. I know several people who have done this, I'm sure they will be able to supply you the part number. The "R" emblem is available seperately with fixing spigots on the back, to fix wherever you like on the grill.

RE: GRILL
Hi
As Howard says, the new shape V70 grille is different from the classic shape. I have replaced my original with the "egg crate" type. I used the one from the MY 04 C70 which has the blue Volvo badge in it. I also used the "R" emblem from the current "R" model which fits straight on. Hope this helps

RE: GRILL
It's not really helpful but a chrome-sytle 2000+ costs £125.oo from dealer.
I'm currently looking for a replacement chrome-style (anyone selling?!) that I can alter slightly but less than £35.oo (spotted locally). Dougie 02/V70/140/Auto 50watt? |
