Red face Wanted: 17" or 18" Alloys (any condition)

Hiya guys,

I have been after some 17" or 18" volvo alloys for a while now, thought i'd pop up a post on here in case anyone has any lying unused at the back of their shed/garage! I don't mind if they are a bit scabby/curbed etc, to be honest i'd rather they were cheaper

Also after a new style grille badge to replace my old style black and silver badge.

If anyone has either of these items then send me a message

I am located in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire but I am willing to travel.

Cheers,

Yoda960

I have a set of 4 17" Comets (without tyres) that I might be interested in selling. The lacquer is flaking off in places, and there is some kerbing, so would benefit from a refurb. I was going to do it myself and have them painted in dark anthracite (mmmmmmmm), but more things keep cropping up with my 850. I'm looking for round the £200 mark (postage could be arranged).

Hi there, many thanks for the reply. £200 is a bit dear for me especially as they have no tyres. Some went here for £220 but they had tyres on:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=190256884256

It means that I would have to buy some tyres and then pay for them to get fitted which in itself is £10 a corner fitted and balanced.

Can you come down at all? Cheers

To be honest, I think that 1stRaven got got his wheels at a ridiculously low price. These are quite a rare wheel, and as you see here: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA:IT&ih=018 these wheels without tyres (and a dent on one of the rims, didn't even meet their reserve at £211.

I understand where you are coming from, i'm quite open to different designs so if its a rarer style wheel then I wouldn't be the best customer lol. I keep browsing ebay and the wheels 1st raven won I has in my watch list, but I missed the bidding. I will just have to keep a look out - but good luck with your sale anyway

Just a quick point.....

If you intend to fit the wheels to a 200,700,940 or pre '95MY 960 then the wheels have to have the RWD offset of 25mm. If they are going on a '95> 960/S/V90, or an 850, S/V/C70 P1 they have to be 43mm offset, or 49mm offset for a P2 car. The new 'small Volvos' like the C30, S40, V50 and new C70 have a smaller centre bore to the larger Volvos so their alloys are not interchangeable.

I have the facelift 960 - 96model year so I presume these will fit. I have some perfos at the mo and they fit fine Thanks for the heads up anyway.

Mark480 - I wanted to bid, but I always bid on the day and not days before as that is pointless, then on the day my ebay messed up
