I am sure the MotorEasy warranty will be pretty similar (excludes lamps/bulbs): main reason I went with them was that it was almost half the price of the Volvo one, but with this precise risk....& they will have less 'goodwill' in them, no doubt Might have to take mine down to our local indy Volvo dealer (I need a written quote before MotorEasy will say what they will pay, & my main dealer - who I do like - are over an hour round trip away). Hey ho....the fun of motor ownership!

Hi all, I have a xc90 from 2011 and I had the same issue. With my case the HCM module has burned and the repair shop had taken it off the car.
I would be very thankful if anyone could please let me know how did you managed to turn off the Headlight rotation while cornering! The error msg is driving me crazy every time the car starts, and on top of that the button to turn off the cornering is blinking the entire time. (and - Yes I tried that button.) |

My 2012 XC60 R-design started doing this. The headlights appear to calibrate themselves properly at startup (up/down), so I'm thinking it could be the sensor on the rear wheels as mentioned here, but I haven't found any other references to this.
I took it to an independent shop, but they weren't very helpful. Can anyone give any more info on the sensor and its location? I'd like to inspect it at first. |
