Question Ac Air in

If you strive to get cold air into your air box then how about running conditioned air?
Has anyone tried feeding aircon air into their engine?

Don't forget that the engine has to work harder to run the air con compressor - therefore any increase in power will be sapped by that !

i attempted this on my last t5..a lot of aggro, a lot of pipework and at the end of the day not a lot of extra cooling considering the amount of air the turbo sucks in.......
best COLD air induction imo is two pipes to std air box from where fogs used to be....some people worry that water may get in but i never had a issue...
cheers

Chris
very true...extra load required to constantly run aircon is absorbed by the/any power gain.....
cheers

Default Cryogenics...

... apparantly is the science to enable you to do this!

You can buy everything you need to keep your air intake cool, it seems, without using your car's a/c.

Demon-tweeks sell all their products in the UK. Yes, I was unfortunately sad enough to browse through the catalogue they sent me!
