Just an update, Nokia E75 connects and uploads all phone contacts within a minute and remembers all dialled numbers etc.

About 174 I think. But nothing is stored as such as the phone/car uploads the contact list automatically on this model of phone everytime you enter the car.

Help/tip please. The car and HTC hd2 see eachother and pare up, phone book syncs, calls out...no audio in car or phone (I can see, but not hear, the call go through on the phone), calls in... no audio in car or phone...call does not even go to cell vm.

Lost my previous phone which had no problems so I am familiar with the system set up.

Hi HenrikS, could you (or anyone else) please describe this in a bit more detail, in particular:
  • Does the iPod function of the iPhone also work via Bluetooth, or do you have to use the USB connector?
  • If the iPod uses Bluetooth, how do you select it on the Audio system?
  • Do you have access the normal iPod menu functions (playlists etc.) that you get when using the USB connector?
  • Does the phone automatically override the iPod when making or receiving calls, or is it a manual switchover between the two functions?

Hi,

We use an older iPhone 2 and 3GS along with a couple of iPods on occasion.

* Does the iPod function of the iPhone also work via Bluetooth, or do you have to use the USB connector? - iPod functionality is via the standard white Apple USB cable into the USB port on my High Perf sound system. This way we can drive the unit via the keypad on the dash or steering wheel.

* If the iPod uses Bluetooth, how do you select it on the Audio system? NO, iPod function is via USB only!
* Do you have access the normal iPod menu functions (playlists etc.) that you get when using the USB connector?, Again, only when on USB, it does not work on Bluetooth.
* Does the phone automatically override the iPod when making or receiving calls, or is it a manual switchover between the two functions? the phone works over bluetooth and when making or recieving a call, whichever audio source is playing is muted for the duration of the call automatically.

Hope this helps.
