I'm going to stick my neck out and say £1000 +/- 10% assuming a normal bidding pattern.

Of course the bidding may stall at the "T-12hrs" point in which case £700-750.

That said it may have already stalled except for a half-hearted last-second bid that might push the price kicking and screaeming up to £530-550.

I was thinking of around a grand tops as well, 'L.S.'. On the plus side, it does have a year's ticket, which should lift it out of the 'spares or repairs' bracket, but it is very scruffy and has clearly not led a cossetted life. That probably wont matter if you just want to use it as a van, but it would put us right off the car. I'm also saying that having paid just £550 for my 2000 V70 from a dealer in 2016, so perhaps your revised figure is more realistic.

Regards, John.

It's always a tough one to guess whether there's a last "12-hour flurry" of bets or whether 2 days from the end the bidding already stalled Mark with the possible exception of a few last minute bids.
Those two different scenarios can alter the outcome considerably so i was just giving my thoughts, depending how the auction runs......

It all depends how the bidding goes John, as i said to Mark, there might be a last 12-hour flurry by a few who fancy it for restoration and hope to get it cheap as it does need a fair bit of TLC to bring it back up to a reasonable standard.

We'll all know when the auction ends though!

All that one will tell you is how much a crappy one owned by a chav is worth.

Don't think they ever made LPTs on an M reg. The clocks have been changed twice, so that's explains the lack of HPT boost gauge..

This was posted on the 700 900 uk group and will perhaps give a pretty good idea of what a half decent one is worth.

I would say the auction estimate on that car of 3k is spot on. The issue is a dealer trying to sell that car for 7k which it isn't worth
