Don't know why they didn't go for an electric option, though. Let's hope this is something they keep working on because...well Homer Timpson put it perfectly.
Hi.
I wonder why they couldn't do it? My wife's SLK has no visible aerial and yet, roof up or down, the radio reception is fantastic.
Later,
Dan.

An antenna along the upper part of the windscreen might have worked? The little stump at the side does look kinda tacky. I'm sure there are a bunch of engineers working on it right now .

Lol. Hi Scott.
How's it hanging bud?
Keeping well thanks. Hope you and yours are all OK.
Didn't I say about this? Wow, mind you it has been a busy year....
We sold the Swift to someone who has made rather more of it than I was going to/would have been allowed to, (it is shinier and sounds better than I ever thought it could, these days) and we (or rather my missus) treated herself to an SLK. She has always wanted one and the opportunity arose.
It is a bit cool! 18" AMG alloys and semi auto tiptronic box. Although we just leave it in auto as it is so good.
You will have to see it sometime, it is a cracking motor.
Later dude,
Dan.
