So long story short new owner of a v70 2002, some one has done a rather bad Decat zip tied the sensor and just stuck a straight piece of pipe, sounds pritty good tbh, anyhow looking at geting a new cat and im kinda stuck, do the 2.0 turbo, 2.3 t5 turbo and 2.5 turbo all use the same cat, i have been looking around and most of them only seem to have the one lambda sensor hole for the front, the only ones i seem to find with both pre abn post cat is the 2.3 and the 2.5 so do they all fit?, with the 3bolt pattern from the turbo?
Thanks Aaron. |

Suggest you post in the >2000 forum section, this is for V70 up to 1999.

But you state your car is a 2002 V70.

Looking on VIDA it appears all three engines use the same cat. 2000 - 2002 model year part number: 8627554
I suspect the diagram is generic and shows a three bolt flange. There is no mention of the lambda sensors, so cannot confirm if they have one or two sensors. I have just checked my own car and that has two sensors, one in the down pipe near the flange - 3 bolt - and one in the front of the cat. Not sure any of this will help, hopefully it will.

You need an angled flange 2wd downpipe, they are all the same.

ITSv40,, thanks pal this helps greatly... and yes my car has a pre cat lambda in the down pipe and one in or after the cat, I did start the think all the turbo cars had the same cats, this confirms it with the part number, Thanks again
