Wanted a power steering rack for a 740 GLE 1989. Does anyone know if a 940 rack is the same. I know the pump is different as the spare one I had came from a 940 and would not fit.

Hi

Yes am interested. Have looked on map and you are not that far away so could come over and take rack off if it still on the car. No idea of price but on E Bay a service exchange one is offered but I can't remember how much they wanted.

Do you have any other bits as there are a few other things I could do with.

I have a full 740 estate minus the gearbox, and front suspension, and rear tailgate. Other than that most parts are still on it.
