honkier lol

well they do look nice, I've seen them on a scooby I go past on my way to work every day and I've wondered what the point was

I googled it and they do sound a bit better I have to admit. did you have to use the relay kit or just wire them in directly as replacements?

Wired in as direct replacements.

With 2 new nuts and bolts you can attach the the existing brackets.

For wiring I reused the existing connectors to the horn and wedged male bullet connectors into and attached other end to the horn.

Dropped the V70 off at the garage tonight, to have a new radiator and Gates hoses fitted tomorrow, as the original one has developed a bit of a leak.

Attempted to paint the sill covers, with black trim paint, but it looks lighter than the faded finish!😡

Getting a quote for a professional paint job to be done instead.
Sills, lower and central door trims, as well as the bumper strips to be done.

Pretty sure it won't be cheap. 💷💷💷

Not a bad price, either.

I watched a video and they sound so much better than the supertone horns.
Far too shrill for my liking!

Default basic maint.

My '07 V70 base got four Cooper CS-5 Grand Touring tires...they feel good so far. Got 'em in the UK?

Replaced a melted right low beam socket using a NAPA sourced pig-tailed H11 socket ($10 item) and a spare lamp.

Supplies used included wire cutter/stripper, crimp butt connections + tool, heat shrink tubing + heat gun, a few touches of silicone grease + toothpick, ruler, saw.

I cut a 7/8" slot in the end of a 3.5" long piece of 2" dowel to reach in and turn the bulb. I also lightly greased the replacement's 3 metal base tabs. It turned in smoothly.

I'm glad the reflector didn't melt and nothing caught fire.

I did a service on my C70s roof.

I cleaned all the rubber seals with alcohol spirit then used gummi pflege to treat the seals.

I looked up the maintenance instructions on line but couldn't make head nor tail of it for greasing so i just gave it a go where I thought would be best.

Probably not perfect but better than nothing.
