Default Pitlochry 26th October

The next Scottish Section Mini meet will be held on

SUNDAY 26TH OCTOBER.

THE FESTIVAL THEATRE CAR PARK

PITLOCHRY

12 NOON

Same format as before, informal chat, and banter, look at each others cars and for those who wish, a cuppa and a bite to eat in the excellent cafe within the Festival Theatre

And for the more athletic, an enjoyable walk to the Hydro Electric Power station and salmon ladder, with spectacular views from the top of the dam.
WebSite Here

Names as usual please

Default For those who fancy a drive

Those of you who fancy a run out, here is a suggested route.

If the weather is unkind it my be more fun than standing in the rain.

Default Looks like a nice trip

Nice part of the world, we holidayed near (B) two years ago. Last speeding ticket was acquired between (C) and (D), though, at Ballinluig on the A9 - dual carriageway narrows to one lane each way and speed limit drops to 50, obvious when you know it's there but I was talking to my wife about something else, until I saw the camera flash behind me in the mirror. <sigh>.

Default At least one nice pub on route

Alternative nice pub, Loch Tummel Inn, at http://www.sawdays.co.uk/search/disp...?BookID=bh3112 on B8019. Not much car parking space though, the Pitlochry Theatre car park will have more room for looking at motors, as well as the good cafe.
