Installing Alpine CHM-S611 CD Changer
To cut a long story short, bought one off of ebay whilst following threads on any alpine will do. Purchased the Interface controller from the US for half the price of the UK (strong sterling £30 incl postage). Now need to find +12 volt behind the 805 head unit to power the changer up. Anybody with any ideas. Want to put it into the glovebox out of harms way. Thinking about using the cigarette lighter to provide 12 volts but would prefer having a go at finding one in the rear of the stereo.

My CD changer is powered via the cable. The interface box is connected to a permanent live and a switched live. Some changers use a power supply in the boot. Power is not supplied via the SC-805.
