Occasional stutter- MAF sensor?
I've noticed an occasional stutter/very slight lag in pick up in second gear, usually just after starting the car and , so far, only once. I had this in my previous diesel Fiat and it was due to the MAF sensor starting to deteriorate. The symptoms that I've just noticed in my diesel S40.
Is anyone able to post a photo of the MAF location in the engine bay so I can keep any eye on it. As yet, I've not had the engine management light come on. I think I might also have to invest in one of those plug on diagnostic devices, any recommendations?

Check my posting yesterday re MAF playing up and cleaning it , it is joined to the air filter casing and has a approx 60mm plastic hose on the end secured by a jubilee clip . Your problem sounds similar how mine was.

Cheers. I won't bother with the rigmarole of cleaning, I'll replace it when necessary
