Boot dimensions

Can anyone help... I have a 2009 V70 and am considering changing to a XC60. Does anyone know the boot dimensions of either / both cars ?

I cant find the details on the volvo website.

I will go to the dealer next week.

I am particularly interested in the boot height up to the roof, and whether it is more or less in the XC60?

Having come from a V70 to an XC60 I can tell you that the XC60 is a lot smaller - don't know he actual difference just the practical difference.

Likewise, I have made the same V70 to XC60 move & the "boot" space is definately smaller - quite a bit shorter but slightly higher. This was not a problem as my days of transporting tribes of kids & their clobber arround are reducing....................
The only real way to assess is to vist your local Volvo Showroom & see the "boot" space physically

I have these measurements listed from when I was enquiring although I cannot find the link from where I obtained them

XC60
Boot width 113cm
Boot length 96cm
Boot opening width 115cm see below

Size of aperture
Bottom 115cm
Middle 101cm
Top 103cm


Boot opening height 74cm or 93cm
I think the lower figure is the actual height of the opening and the second one is height the boot lid goes to



V70
Boot width 111cm
Boot length 108cm
Boot opening width 114cm see below

Middle 117cm
Top 92cm
