Centre console
Looking for an early centre console - the type that fits around the really long gearstick models and has a clock mounted in it.
Thanks!

Well, clock's was an option - and today it is NOT easy finding a clock that works.. Anyway - Here's what I 've got:
Really nice console - it has been painted somewhere in it's life - probably to try hide the repair done to it on the left side of it (the cracks are easy to see in the pictures) - this repair has also hidden the original square holes for extra switches - you should be able to see this in the picture showing the backside. The clock is a clock I found on the shelfs - I can NOT say if it works - probably not. It doesn't have the mounting brackets and screws, but it's a tight fit anyway - and the clock sits firmly. (Clock has Volvo logo and dates from 1972) Overall, it's a very nice centre console for a daily driver Amazon. Shipping unfortunately looks to be apr. GBP 25 - and if you are OK with paying the PayPal fee's or sending cash - I will be OK with accepting a reasonable bid that reflects at least the work in it for me. Thanks for the offer. However I'm really looking for one that's fully intact (the visible cracks aren't an issue) as I also want to use the switch plinths (for front & rear fogs, heated rear screen etc) so that I don't have to hack any holes in my dashboard.

Isn't that just to drill needed/wanted holes? (in the console). :-)

The switch plinths are fully moulded on the upper side. In order for that surface to be smooth like that there's probably quite a bit of filler in there. Wouldn't be an issue for someone who wants to use it as it is, but not exactly ideal for mounting switches in.
Also FYI, I was in the process of replying to you when you sent your last PM....
