Since changing two tyres on my 2014 V40 diesel, the tyre pressure light has been on, and I just cant work out how to reset it. I have googled, but it doesnt seem to work.
I guess I am just being an idiot, but wuld be grateful for any help

It is not reset it is "Calibrated" - an option in the menus.

Thanks for the replies. I have gone to "My Car" and tried to calibrate the tyre pressures but it just doesnt work when i click "OK".
Initially it says I must drive for up to 10 minutes and then that seems to disappear, but when I press OK, to calibrate, it doesnt do anything!

Help, please! -thanks

I found the V40 TPM a little finicky. You tell it to recalibrate and it doesn’t appear to do anything, but provided you then drive it for (at least) 10 minutes it appears to do its thing. A steady speed seems to help rather than stop start. I also had the Tyre Pressure warning illuminate again a couple of days later, but recalibrating again solved the problem.

Thanks for your post. I5 gave me hope

But I took the car out for an hour with the calibrate pressure screen showing. No good. It changed from showing two faulty tyres, to just one so I thought it was working. But it never cleared itself and subsequently reverted back to show two tyres with the wrong pressure.
Just wondering if it has a memory? So if I disconnect the battery, or pull the fuse, whether it would clear itself?

all you do is set the tyre pressures correctly and they choose CALIBRATE and go for a drive somewhere and after 10 mins or so it is done... have a look in the owner's handbook ....

Thanks. Yes I’ve tried that.
I’m guessing now that the wheel sensor is at fault. I think they have a finite life. I have no idea how to change them so need to investigate.
