Default v70 p3 facelift rear lights

Afternoon all, does anyone know if the rear lights off a p3 v70 facelift (13 plate ish onwards) fit the standard v70 p3 on a 59 plate? Will it require a lot of fuss trying to fit it or is it worth just not doing it.
Thanks

It can be done but it's not a straightforward plug & play as the lights function differently.
Have a look at this thread from our US cousins.

Thanks very much it's a good in-depth explanatory thread as well. Also given me idea about upgrading to facelift trim

Also doesn't mention there if you're thinking of fitting de oranged headlights from the MY14 cars they don't have side marker lights and they just say error headlight system service on the display. They do work though. I have an MY15 light unit for my facelift upgrade on the XC but it's not practical to use the original lights. I'm sourcing a scrap light unit cheap and I have a plan to modify the older lights to remove the orange section in the lens. Watch this space...

With all the work I've just had done to my front lights I'm not going to touch the fronts
