Default 2012 XC70 towbar suggestions.

Hi,

Can anyone suggest a towbar to fit an 2012 XC70?

Is there anything to be aware of or to take into consideration i.e type of electrics in use etc?

Thanks

Paul

Hi,

Volvo?

I would certainly go with Volvo electrics as they'll intergrate with the car.

Hi,

Possibly, but the volvo one is pretty much plug in and connect up and then do a software update to let the car know you have a towbar/electrics installed.
I suspect that the park sensor distance may be adjusted if you have a static tow hook but it does turn the sensors off when you have something hitched to the back.

For any saving you may get I'd vote for the volvo one over that for ease and compatibility.

You can make savings elsewhere like LandRover Cabin filter for about £10 or less over the same thing in a volvo box for £80!!
