Xc70 2.5t petrol fuel consumption
Hi all, Thinking of buying a 2002 XC70 2.5T Petrol. Obviously I am not
expecting fuel consumption to be great but can anyone who owns one give me an idea of what can be achieved? Car I am looking at is below if anyone can provide any other comment. Thanks. http://vehicledetails.co.uk/sites/Hu...27?vehicle=491 |

hi there
i own a 2000 model xc70 2.5t petrol, you are right fuel consumption isnt the best but it is a big comfy car. around town it will return 23/24 mpg and on motorway runs you can get it just above 30mpg.have had a look at car you are thinking of buying and it looks very good. hope this helps you make your mind up. i have owned my xc since early feb and before then i had a vectra-what a difference |

Many thanks for your reply. Having owned one can you clarify what you are supposed to do regarding tyre tread depth? Do they all have to be within 6mm or 2mm. Is it just the tyres on the same axel?? Have looked at a few threads and I am confused. The car I am looking at the dealer has fitted new tyres on the front. The rear ones are ok but are worn, do they have to be within a certain depth of the front tyres etc....
Also the rear discs are not very smooth, is this a problem? I have heard it is lack of correct servicing. Many thanks, cas100uk |
