Default my old wishbones

Hi all,

Just a thought,
If I were to put new wishbones on my s60 d5, would anyone be interested in buying my old ones off me so they could maybe polybush them in their own time before replacing their own?

If so, offers, as it'll be happening in the next week or 2.

Thanks

Are they the original Volvo ones?

Steering limiter mount with vertical or horizontal bolts?

I imagine they are original.
Will check in the morning though.

Please post up the part # when you have removed them from the vehicle.

I am interested to start a thread where we track original wishbone part # against the fluted or straight (police) front pivot.

There are many folks who have stripped a wishbone, and found a straight pivot which is incompatible with the Powerflex bush.

I doubt that they noted the Volvo part # at the time - this would be a useful reference for future members prior to commencing a re-bush.

I think I mentioned before that not all police spec arms have straight rods.
Mine didn't and they were original.
Possibly newer '04 onwards ones had straight rods.

My point exactly - your use of the word 'possibly' confirms that we don't really understand the logic of why/when behind wishbone pivot.
Do arms with police spec pins have a different part # ?

We need members who have uncovered a police spec pivot to shout out the Volvo wishbone part #
