Does anyone have one of these? I am just testing the water as to how popular and/or desirable they are in the UK, as the US Volvo owners seem to go nuts for these kind of mods. I think they look so nice.

I've purshased one myself today off RT Mechanics (via ebay) and hope to have it in the next day or so to fit.

They do seem to add quite a bit of aggression to the front. I'd consider one but then I know how many times I would've ripped it off by now.

Good luck with yours and post some piccies when fitted.

Arrived and fitted. Well, I took a round trip to Russell's to pick it up as they couldn't ensure it would arrive in one piece. It was a nice drice anyway.

Installation was a dodle. Longest part was ensuring I was happy with where it was going to be positioned. I'm very happy with the results.

Pics as requested.

Looks good...now remember to reverse into every parking space where there's a kerb just waiting for you!

I was suprised at the final hight after installation. In fact, so suprised I had to amend my driveway entrance to raise the tyres enough for clearance reversing out (the driveway inclines the opposite to the drive entrance like a V). lol. Still, I now know that I must reverse in everytime which gives me a good 1" clearance, but apart from that there has been no other problems with speed bumps etc etc.

IMHO, it's worth the extra consideration, especially after taking a drive and having nothing but bemuzed expressions on peoples faces wondering what has just gone past them, or even the ricer and nova boys pointing!

Dave.

Hi dave many thanks for your purchase from us sorry to have missed you as i have been away .

I think they look superb and just give the front that mean look.

I have had my lip fitted to my car for about a year now and have had no problems with hitting on the ground/kerbs i used to own a very low escort cossy so have experience with low front ends !!.
