Good (but dismantled) B20 engine – £100
Hello all,
I have a really good B20 engine that needs a good home. I'm not entirely sure what it's from – but is has a single Stromberg 175 CD-2. We used it from an 'Engine Autopsy' feature in Practical Classics magazine, so it's totally disassembled. It is, however, in very good condition. It appears to have covered very few miles. The bores are perfect, the pistons are unworn, the valves and seats will lap back in beautifully. It just needs a basic shed-based rebuild – no machining required. I've been saving it for my personal gratification... but I'm all out of B20-engined cars at present and I really need to spring-clean away a tonne-or-so of automotive treasure. If anyone can collect it from Chippenham, Wiltshire, then it's yours for £100. Cheers, Sam PS. Please e-mail sam.glover@practicalclassics.co.uk – I can't reply to PMs. |
