Type in your reg number or use another V70 which you've not stated an age for here and say it's a UK car not an import and it will tell you Tommy Cooper style.

mine is compliant yes but it might vary depending on year

in fact that's one of the main reasons I chose it over the other engine variants

Thanks

And yes my 2001 V70 is Compliant!

Most sites state anything after 2006 is OK, so great to know my even older Volvo meets these regulations (When they kick in for Glasgow)

I was very surprised considering it gets a real-world average of about 23mpg mixed mpg (better if you do lots of long journeys) so it's hardly an economical car is it

still maybe it's less about how much petrol you use and more about how well the cat works to stop you killing people as you drive around

I expect older D5 values will drop through the floor as ULEZ spreads to more areas? which would be a shame seeing as they give decent power

The Euro 4 minimum spec for petrol in these zones does seem to go back some way before 2006 for various cars.

However they get us in other ways. Yes, car tax is still only £360 a year for those that bust the 225g/km rate if registered before 23 March 2006 (it should be £615) but councils are racking up rates on parking permits and pay and display.

In Islington there is petrol surcharge of £3.15 an hour for pay bays on cars over 225g/km. The diesel surcharge for all cars is £5.10 an hour!
