C30 heated seats addition

Am I correct in reading that the heated seat option can be programmed in post build? I’ve got a T5, which is perfect but missing the winter pack heated seats.

When I bought the car, I got 2 heated seats thrown in, really as replacements as the white seat panel had worn, as they all do. I also have a waterfall panel with the heated seat buttons. Thus in theory, I have the hardware.

Is it just fitting and reprogramming? Or is there more to it?

I don’t really want to start messing around it it is not achievable! Thanks in advance.

Do you though.....
Do both the old and new seats have identical electrical connectors or do the heated ones have additional connectors and do you have the wiring loom plugs which are compatible with both?
