Unusual C70 on Gumtree

I just saw this,& thought it was a bit of a strange one

It's white for a start,but like mine,seems to have virtually no options.Half leather seats,air con instead of climate,no passenger airbag.Low mileage though,worth a look?

Just a thought, convertible interiors have to be water resistant...
Climate control wouldn't work with a roof down?
Just a guess?

Seems genuine .Could be a bit of a gem at that price with a six month test meaning you can use it this summer and get it a new test in the winter .

Don't think I've ever seen one in white. I like!

Think it's just a poverty spec model tbh.
Not many of them about at all, as most people specced them up and not long into production most stuff like leather and climate comtrol was made standard anyway.

Either way, the CC on my ragtop disengages with the roof down, the standard AC probably does the same.

it's a manual T5 so that makes it even rarer, bargain for someone if it's genuine

I believe they only built about 600 manual T5's

Yep dropping the roof on the Mk1 and Mk2 C70 disables the air con compressor and the heated rear window.
