Default For sale / Part exchange: 2000 V70 T5 Geartronic

Right, it's not in the wrong place as such as I'd ideally like to part exchange the car for an 850 T5 or a V70 T5 Classic but cash works too... sounds dodgy right? Well, not really. I like this car, I even love it in some ways but I absolutely miss my earlier cars and I can't ignore it any longer. So, mine...

2000 / X reg
Volvo V70 T5 SE Geartronic
156,000 miles - barely run it etc etc
Mot to November
Tax to October
Leather seats

Now, I bought this back in October as a winter stop gap on the grounds it'd no doubt die soon... Geartronic / early phase 2 / Jesus man what were you thinking but actually, it's surpassed all expectations and has been a superb big workhorse and has racked up thousands of happy miles.

I've replaced a few bits... tyres, steering parts, thermostat and that's about it really. It starts well, idle perfectly and still picks up it's skirt and goes. It's massive, it's survived trial by child, mountain bike, house moving, family holidays to Cornwall and in return all it needs is fuel.

But it's also a 12 year old Volvo so lets not bull****, it has some character... body is average and has a decent dent in the n/s/r quarter, wheel aren't minty fresh, roof lining has damage (ooo-er!) but it's all cosmetic and if like me you don't really care or want something to throw bikes in, park anywhere, keep the family safe and yet be a nice refined cruiser or a mobile skip then job's a good un!

Service history is non-existant sadly... well not sadly as frankly it doesn't bother me as I do it all myself anyways. Brakes have been done, it has recent oil changes and I do look after it as the missus and squad travel in it... but equally so, it's a car and it gets used so been realistic.

Now, I value this around £1,000 (ish) but as said, I'd really dearly love another 850 T5 again so if anybody ahs one they'd like to maybe do a little deal on and find themselves in a slightly newer, more refined piece of automotive brilliance then I'd be willing to have a chat.

I have only one request: Has to be an estate and not a complete bin.

And a link to my Pistonheads "thread" detailing everything in full glory / gory so you can see, I have nothing to hide...

I'm in Dunfermline, Fife and I'd happily travel for the right car / deal but also I'd sell the car outright to a lucky new owner. I'm not desperate for it to go but I'll put it out there - if nothing comes of it then so be it.

Cheers
