Default Saffron V70R 2wd wanted Manual

I'm undecided whether to spend lots of money on my standard V70R or to put that money towards another car that has been modded.

Anyone with a Saffron V70R, in manual, or a low mileage auto, that may want to sell, or knows of the whereabouts, then please let me know.

Prefared mods include, twin exit exhaust, pegs, crystal headlights, big brakes, etc. Not fussed about ecu upgrades.

Saffron ONLY.......and none of those AWD tanks please

Mate spend the money on the one you already have at least you know where you are with that one, buying ones of these motors can be a mine field as I'm sure you know , and buying one that as been modded

You will know nothing about it why has it been modded as it been done properly? Has it been modded so as it could be thrashed to the limits of it life that little bit more? Oh the list for reasons not to do this is endless

If your Vr has been a good car then stay with it bud that would be my advice.

Thanks Andy.

You will see by what "mods" I am considering, are mainly "bolt on" accessories, that is, wheels, headlights, exhaust etc, although a remap may be needed with an exhaust.

I agree, that with modded cars, there is a higher degree of uncertanty especially with ecu upgrades, and an increased vunerability on auto gearboxes.

I have no interest at all with an AWD car.........the cons are more greater than the pros for me. That is my opinion.

Bottom line though, is that I want subtle mods to my car, but with somebody else taking the financial hit

I do understand what your saying but it does not necessarily work out that way, as you do not know for sure what will be lying ahead with what your buying, your new purchase could have a few niggle faults that you notice in time or an underlined fault, IE Auto Box/engine/etc that could easily outweigh the cost of a few mods on your current car, plus carrying out mods if a personal thing a thing of taste, one other thing to remember is mods to your current car and be done over time spreading / easing the financial burden, a car from the unknown might not be so understanding to your wallet .
