Middle seat backrest release strap broken
Just had the strap that you use to release the backrests the middle seat of the middle row just pull away in my hands.
It's now stuck in the upright position! Any ideas if this is easy to replace/repair?

I have never seen this issue before. All i can suggest is slide the adjacent seat fully forward to make access to the cover easier and then try and ease it off by hand. I would hope inside it would be obvious where to attach. Sorry not more help but from following this forum for 5 years I have never seen this before.

We spoke to someone at the dealer and if he got the right part it's only around £6-£7 for the strap.

I had the same issue except mine broke with the centre seat in the down position. Do not know if you have sorted it yet but the part is £5.20 + VAT. Really simple to change out. Undo 2 torx screws that secures the cover on the side of the seat (one at rear, one to side) and lift cover up and away. New strap just slots in place. A bit fiddly to put back together (make sure the tabs on the cover hook over in all relevant places) but all done in about 10 minutes. Poor design if you ask me as the strap is in direct contact with the metal lever which is a punched bit of metal from a blank, thus metal edges will cut through over time.
