This may be quite genuine - but the moon is also made of cheese.

At the very least this owner? needs to post the VIN number, where it was exported from and by whom, and who the previous owner was. Once you're CERTAIN this is not a stolen car/scam then by all means help. But just to tell somebody how to break in Jesus H CH+++T.

Mollusk.
To be honest I did wonder........... but he did say he had one set of keys and he never mentioned having "to break in". Also why nick a Volvo that is unsupportable in your country of destination when there are Mercs and Bemmers which seem to be the common "vehicle of choice" and can most likely be supported worldwide. (There was a programme on Top Gear a few months ago which mentioned the number of dodgy Mercs and Bemmers in Romania.)

Let's wait for "New Member" Koledisha to explain before we condemn him or for that matter help him. Up to Marty really as he is the one with the "key" so to speak.

A very late update......... Following a report to the police an XC90 has been returned to its rightful owner (the insurance Co after they had paid out for the loss of the car).
