Default VLVautoparts & Air con

Hi.

Has anyone done business with VLV Auto parts and can recommend them?
https://www.vlvautoparts.com/parts-f..._l_EN_r_3.html

I need AC parts for an 850 here in Sydney, Australia.
Compressor, Condensor and Receiver/dryer.

I have used FCP in the past and haven't had any trouble with them but am concerned of long lead times out of the USA to Australia for the last couple of years, and also the Condensor and Receiver/dryer perhaps being a little different LH-drive to RH-drive (FCP themselves warned me about that).

The Condesor in our 850 I cannot see the connections to compare, and their drawings of the Receiver/Dryer do have a slightly different shape to the high pipe connections that bends 90deg and swoops slightly to the side.

Therefore, I looked at European suppliers as DHL and FedEx still seem to get here in under 2 weeks and I thought it a safer choice to get the correct RH-drive for our Australian 850.

If there are any other preferred Volvo dealers please let me know ASAP (its hot over here!). But also if anyone has had poor experiences with VLV Autoparts please let me know so I will stay away from dealing with them.

Thanks.

Its a long shot, but you could try calling FRF Volvo - they are main dealers here in the UK but offer very competitive pricing on a lot of classic car parts (quote discount code C3) +44 1792 790066

Shipping could be the killer here of course!

No - FRF don't ship overseas.

I'm happy that VLVautoparts have the correct parts for our 850 but I have never dealt with them and was hoping if anyone could vouch for them, or alternatively advise me to stay away from them if they were difficult or lousy to deal with.

One person in the 900 section has emailed them and they were responsive and informative but I don't think he ended up buying anything.
