Question Door mirror issue

Just purchased my XC-90 but friend noticed the passengers mirror when folding in goes too far and hits first the silver door trim and then rests on the door glass. I'm aware I can turn the folding function off but my road is rather narrow and mirrors are often knocked off so I'd rather retain the function. Is this a common issue and is it an easy fix? It will be done under warranty but I was expecting the Powerpulse pipe to be the main issue not a mirror.

Check that your mirror has not been knocked out of its normal position when extended. Push it outward when extended and see if it clicks into position.
