  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Did both back and front. A worthwhile addition especially as i am a rural dweller! Rear ones have aluminium lightweight pop rivet and you need to drill through the existing hole into the wheel arch guard. And yes you do need a pop rivet gun.

sorry forgot to mention you are drilling into plastic. push the drill down into the chuck so only a small amount sticks out and you wont drill into anything else!!

Thanks Laundryman, that's really helpful and what I needed to know - gives me some confidence for tomorrow's wee job!

I've gotten under the car and can now see that I'll just be drilling through the plastic and into the material, without (hopefully) touching anything metal!

I think they look really good when fitted and suit the style of the car

Looks simple enough although why a rivet and not a screw is anyone's guess.

I fitted front and rear, front are easy, back is easy too but I have no rivet gun, so I just ran an appropriate screw thru into a plastic block, there is lots of space under that to do whatever.
