Same size as the ICE and mild-hybrid variants but very little space under the boot floor.

This has been done to reduce emissions according to my dealer.
So whilst you are getting a more powerful electric engine and better range you are also losing 50ish hp from the petrol side

Cheers
Is this confirmed anywhere the Price list v6a still lists the T8 at 300 ish bhp.

Thinking of buying a XC60 Recharge but seems to be a guessing game based on what the spec it'll actually have by the time it arrives.

It seems like they're doing away with the Supercharger & Turbocharger setup and going turbo only. They don't mention if it's twin-scroll/twin-turbo or single turbo - likely to be one of the former for responsiveness I'd have thought?
The range and more oomph from electric (not necessarily more power overall) is what we'd definitely like!
With the loss of the NHS discount now in October this was our last beautiful new car for us

Default V60 T6 recharge arriving next week

Thanks for great info, I have a lease V60 arriving next week - was bit gutted to hear of the increased battery range & power last week, but feeling better about it after reading here. Been waiting since early this year for delivery, ordered Feb but order was out in for (then new) MY22 start of April I think. More comfortable with a turbo/supercharged engine than pure turbo, suffice reliable enough - replacing c350e estate, so will be interesting to compare and contrast.

I can't find any confirmation of this on-line, in fact, all data published by Volvo here and in the official MY22 brochure, states 253bhp for the ICE and 145bhp the electric..

My understanding is that the full 145bhp power of the electric engine is only accessible in pure electric mode with the T6 drive train, and is limited in power mode to achieve the 350bhp max.

I guess we will only find out once they get delivered! A lot of conflicting information from Volvo. Personally, they shouldn't be advertising 48 miles of range when the smaller batteries got nowhere near the 34 miles advertised currently. For reference, you are lucky to get 25 on a good day. Based on this, you'd be lucky for the new batteries to get 35. A 10 mile range difference based on the astronomical cost increases for this model year really don't make financial sense at all...

Hi

Volvo has just advertised the new T8 PHEV as 57 miles now. Literally in the last few days. Whats going on? I thought it was 41mile increased range for 2022 MY. Is it now 57miles like volvo.com said?
