460 spotlights

Hi,
Am thinking about fixing spotlights to the presently blank space in the front apron of my 460. Do I have to get the proper Volvo ones, which perhaps come with some fitting kit etc,and are probably expensive or does anybody have any experience with fitting other types. The wiring looks to be reasonably straight forward, because the switch is in place, and I imagine it will be pretty easy to locate some taped up wires in the front loom area. Thanks for any suggestions.

Unless your model is a really really basic one, the wiring for the spotlights should already be there. Usually it's located under the indicators/headlights and has black connectors. With regrads to the spotlights the only ones i know of are Volvo ones i'm afraid. However, you do see them on eBay sometimes...
