Rear light covers? Removable?
Hi All,
I noticed that 2 of my rear lights (left side lower, right side upper) seem to have some sort of protector cover on them (see below) It is strange they are diagonally oposite. Has anyone seen these before, and can they be taken off? I tried prising them off with a screwdriver to no avail, but didnt try too hard as i didnt want to damage the lights. |

I thought that, but it looks like a seperate cover, I will try to get another picture later which better shows it. Its really odd as from one side of the light it looks like a cover, but the other side it looks like its the light itself. The faint colour is all over, even from the side in the boot which i wouldnt of expected. darker or lighter spots, just all over. i will try taking the lights out later and have a look.

Here are a couple of photos of the light on other sides that are not "faded" or have the "Cover" on them. It certainly looks like some sort of cover?

looks like a masking tape line to me, as someone has tried to apply a clear lacquer, but unfortunately, its faded and gone dull. bit of elbow grease and T cut may remove. but please don't use neat thinners, yes will take the lacquer off, but could damage the plastic lens too.
