1995 460 1.8i Fuel problem (I think)
Wondering if any one has had a similar problem?
Car will start fine, leave it ticking over for 10-15 minutes and it will run rough and then stall. On the motorway it is reluctant to go much over 70 mph. Acceleration from 70 to 80 mph is very slow. At lower speeds it drives well, without any apparent symptoms. It sounds like fuel starvation to me. I'm wondering if the pump is not delivering enough fuel. Does any one know the flow rate for these engines? Only 80,000 on the clock and has the CVT transmission Thanks and regards, Nick |
