Default 19" tyre recommendations for 2016 XC90 T8

Anyone got any strong recommendations for tyres for a T8 XC90?

I've been running Goodyear Vector 4Seasons but haven't seen a snowflake and they're shot after less than 2 years and 10,000 km so I'm looking to try something else.

Also, I usually buy reinforced or XL rated tyres. Any thoughts on that pro or con?

I run Michelin Latitude in the summer and am very pleased with them.

As for XL or not, you need to buy exactly the spec for the car which I believe is probably XL for the likely size you are referring to.

Interesting, timely thread.

I run a set of 19" Momentum wheels as winters on my B5(D) XC90 and I've just ordered a new T8.

I wasn't sure that 19s would fit the T8, larger front discs I thought? But I guess you are running 19s so that should be ok.

6 spoke 19s fit the T8. 10 spoke 19s don't. Yes the brake disks are bigger and I believe that the 10 spoke does not have enough internal clearance.

Indeed. 2.25 tonne cars with 400 horsepower will probably be quite hard on anything other than performance oriented touring rubber.

So provided the brakes havent changed between MY16 and your new (MY23?) T8 then you will be fine. I have 2 sets of 6 spoke 19s and swap them between winter and summer.

I have direct TPMS so had to buy the sensors for my second set but I expect you to have indirect TPMS so you should be able to just bolt them on and go.
