Default V60 Recharge '71 - Not Using Battery/Electric Power?

I have a '71 plate V60 Recharge

It doesn't seem to be using battery power, just petrol

It has a full battery charge.

I usually drive it in hybrid mode. Tried to put it in to Pure mode to force it to use the electric power but it its greyed out with "mode not available due to limitations".

Car had been driven for around 30 mins at this point on a warm day, so can't imagine it was a cold start issue as I have read elsewhere.

Tried restarting the car a few times but no difference.

Made sure "hold charge" option was off.

Hoping its user error or a simple fix others have had?

Thanks.

Start here and if it doesn't show up what you might be doing wrong it's time to ask the dealer for advise,

If the fuel in the tank is aged (time varies depending on ambient temperature, can be anything from 90-365days) then if will inhibit the use of the hybrid system to use the fuel. This cause won't give you a clear warning/reason and won't leave a fault code. Have you done most trips on electric/very limited ICE usage for a while? When did you last fill the fuel tank?

If this sounds like it might be the cause then don't fill the tank until the reserve light comes on, it won't reset itself with a small topup of fuel. T

I've been waiting since October for my home charger to be fitted so used daily with mainly just the petrol engine (barring the odd charge here and there).

Finally got my charger a few days ago and battery is still full

Trip to the dealer to diagnose, ERAD or inverter or some other part on the cars hybrid system possibly gone faulty by the sound of it.

Default Update

Update....

Car went in to my local dealership yesterday, came back as a fault with the ERAD.

New one coming and being fitted today.

I'm no expert but it doesn't seem like the kind of fault should be seeing on a car less then 1 year old with approx. 7k miles on the clock?
