Default Flywheel

The clutch is starting to slip on my 1996 940 b230fk and while I'm changing the clutch I'm going to bin the dual mass and fit a solid flywheel, what is the correct solid flywheel to use for this conversion and what model/year car are they from.

You have two choices.

1, Find a solid flywheel from an earlier 940 (which had lh 2.4 injection) found on '91-'94 cars that had the M46/M47 gearboxes, and a diesel clutch pack.

2, A company called TTV Racing makes a lightened flywheel for lh2.4 redblock engines to be combined with an 850R clutch pack:
link (there is no direct link but navigate: flywheels/Volvo/B230 Red Block 850R 'Lite').
This would be the way to go if you want to increase the car's performance in a big way

I first read about them on Turbobricks earlier in the year. The price then was around £200 for the flywheel. You would need to contact them for the current price.
