XC60 polestar upgrade costs

Hi, I've just taken delivery of MY14.5 XC60 D5. Has anyone recently upgraded their XC60 with the polestar. How much does it cost and take to do?
Do you really notice the difference

Appreciate there have been treads on this subject in the past but appreciate any thoughts or comments

I'm getting mine done next week. Cost wise - no idea in your country but over here it starts at £825 and one should then negotiate.

Just tried local dealer and they're asking £835, which seems quite high so interested to get users view of the benefit before I splash out

I suppose the question is , do you find the performance lacking in your D5 ? Why do you want more ?
The more power you have to start with ( and you have a lot ) the more you need to make a difference . yes you will jnotice a useful difference , but not £850 worth in my opinion . It is only a software download so about 20 minutes to do...

I'm finding it hard to find an insurer. My broker says my company won't cover me if I go ahead. LV seem reasonable +£40. Who do you guys use (if you have Polestar).

Our polestar upgrade falls in the 0-10% power increase bracket, and the price was less than my previous insurer, who refused to cover it (iam surety, underwritten by rsa).

Next time around we'll try volvo insurance.
