190F is 87.7C, not sure what yours should run at but it's somewhere around there. What code reader are you using? I would get it plugged into VIDA and see what it says.

Latest update.
Got my Volvo FCR software woring and pluged into my car. Tread the code and said that there was a signal fault. I have already replaced the canshaft sensor with a known good one. No difference. Checked the wiring and couldnt find any problems. I will check the rotor under the cover that the sensor sits in. Does anybody know if there are any issues with this part. When the engine is running i can unplug the camshaft sensor and the engine carries on running. This is starting to turn into a who gets scrapped first job.

check for vacuum leaks at the small rubber hoses at your inlet manifold.and the gasket for your throttle.

Replaced the ECT no difference.
When cold, difficult to start and shows cranksensor fault and when up to temp, reves betweem 1500 and 3500.
When warm, starts no probs but shows a camshaft sensor fault but most of the time runs without the over reving.
I have checked for vac leaks and manifold leaks,
Changed, camshaft sensor, crank sensor, ECT, cleaned the throttle body and oil, and air filter and oil.
Is there anybody local that can read live data as i think this is an obscure wiring fault or ECU.

Any ideas wellcome.
Cant use garage as just been laid off on christmas eve so lack of funds until i find a new job.
